From the bride:
“Rustic elegance was my goal. Fall was my season to get married from the very beginning because of the beautiful dark blues, burgundy’s, peach tones, leaves, & trees. I’ve always loved those colors for a wedding, it just adds to the romantic feel in my opinion. A highlight of the process was of course picking the dress with my mom and sister, that was so important to me. Also, choosing vendors that I could trust. Photography, videography, and my wedding planner really were so responsive and so awesome throughout the whole process.
Best advice for brides: please yourself before everyone else. Don’t ever forget that this is your day and you can never get it back once it’s over. Start looking at inspiration pics ahead of time, ask for help when needed. This is a huge event that you want to be perfect and if you try to do it all by yourself you will never capture the vision you want, it’s just too much. And don’t worry about the little things. 🙂 Nobody will even know about the things that went wrong the day of except you so don’t sweat it.”

This was such a fun shoot for me! The beautiful maternity model is one of my best friend’s sisters! It’s always a joy to photograph the families of people I love! Shoutout to Verbena Floral Design for the stunning flower crown, and to Mandalin Collective for the awesome job on the makeup. Samantha, you were a gorgeous model & I had so much fun photographing you!
Here are a few words from Samantha herself:
“Let’s start off by saying that I’m not one to insists on something being special or memorialized in print but I am so glad that my sister offered to have maternity photos done on my visit from Cali. I was like sure! Why not?
The day came when the photographer Eva Cranford was to come over for the shoot. We had gotten a crown by Verbena Floral Design for me to wear for the shoot and it was stunning. Next the make up artist: Mandalin Collective came to do my make up which came out flawless. I felt like a beauty queen.
Finally, it was time for photos. Eva made everything so comfortable and gave direction very well. Her personality is effortlessly radiant you can’t help but love her. It was so much fun seeing how much she loves what she does and her feed back is amazing. She even showed me some shots as she took them. She really has a great eye for lighting and capturing the moment. The pictures turned out brilliantly!
This is my second pregnancy 11 years apart. I wasn’t able to enjoy my first pregnancy. However, I’m so glad I am able to this time and did this shoot. It made me so excited to get to finally meet my little girl and show her pictures of when she was in mommy’s belly. Sometimes being pregnant you feel like your giant and ugly but with these photos they made me truly feel like mother nature in all of her beauty! I couldn’t be happier to have this experience. Thank you Eva for everything!”

Katy was a dream to photograph at Berry Springs in Georgetown, TX. We got lucky, that in June it wasn’t blisteringly hot…and we knocked out her session in the dappled sunshine & shade. She knew how to channel both beauty & fun in the same time block. It made my photographer heart happy!
