Oh what a special thing it is when I get the cherished email of “I’ve followed your work for years.” And Lauren was a former classmate of mine at Westlake! What a beautiful blessing it was to get the opportunity to photograph such a special occasion for a former Chap. (and can I just say, I feel like 2016/2017 have been the years of Westlake weddings!) These two are first off–GORGEOUS. Made my job SUPER easy. And second, their love was so joyful, so childlike & full of laughter, that their effortless love & joy & goofy nature just impacted everyone else around them. From their families, friends, wedding party, even their vendors. And I’m confident this truth will show throughout their images! They have such generous spirits (they foster dogs on the regular), took a honeymoon to Indonesia, and have taken adventures all over. They are the epitome of ideal clients/friends. And I’m wishing nothing but the best for them in their lives together! The Terrace Club was a stunning backdrop for the Henrichs big day. And per usual, shoutout to my ride-or-die, Marissa Hyland, for crushing it at second shooting duties. Y’all, I couldn’t ask for a better partner-in-crime.
