When clients who happen to be old friends from high school see your work, value it, and entrust you with documenting their entire wedding process, including a 24-hour trip to Chicago (their first home together)…let’s just say this photographer’s heart sings to high heaven! For real though, I’m so honored to be a part of Nathan & Alex’s wedding process, and thrilled at the opportunity to tell their love story. These two lovebirds met in Chemistry class in college, and were friends for a good chunk of time before Nathan made his move. And I won’t say what his move is…but we’ll at least say that he swept her off her feet with a kiss, and everything changed. A date every night that week before he had to leave town again…and the rest is history. I enjoyed an afternoon with these two at some of their favorite spots in Chicago, including a stop at their proposal spot. We dodged a light shower mid-afternoon, and finished off with sunset photos at the Adler Planetarium. And we just had to finish the day with tacos and margaritas for dinner (because Texas, duh).
